Dr. Judith Oropeza

One of the things that Dr. Oropeza loves most about being an orthodontist is making a positive impact on the lives of her friends and neighbors each and every day. In fact, that’s part of what inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry!

Dr. Oropeza is originally from Venezuela, which is where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Then, she attended the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She graduated with high honors, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, obtained her master’s in sciences in Dentistry, and received her Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. If that long list of accomplishments wasn’t impressive enough, she also is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Board of Orthodontics.

When Dr. Oropeza isn’t at our office helping our patients in and around Hudson smile, you’ll most likely find her spending time with her family, skiing, and cooking.

Dr. Sam Alkhoury

Dr. Alkhoury’s career in the field of orthodontics spans nearly 30 years, and his passion for creating beautiful smiles has never waned. His studies began at Boston University all of those years ago. After graduating with honors, he pursued a residency in Advanced Education at New York University. He has continued to pursue advanced training and maintain active memberships with professional organizations like the American Dental Association ever since, and his dedication to his craft has not gone unnoticed. In fact, he’s been recognized by the American Academy of Orthodontists!

As for life outside our orthodontic office near Hudson, Dr. Alkhoury loves cheering on the Red Sox, traveling, and, of course, spending time with his loved ones.

How can I find a female orthodontist?

If you’re looking for a female orthodontist near Hudson, good news: we have a skilled, compassionate, and meticulous female orthodontist at our office. Dr. Oropeza is passionate about helping patients with customized treatment plans that deliver gorgeous results. Plus, you can learn more about her educational background and advanced training on her bio page on our website!

Note: if you don’t reside in or around Hudson, then your friends, family, and colleagues may have recommendations for you. You can also type “female orthodontist near me” into the search bar on Google. Within a few seconds, you should have a list of providers in your area that fit that criteria.

What do you do if you can't afford an orthodontist?

Since braces are quite an investment, it’s common for patients to automatically assume it’s “too expensive” before getting an estimate of the cost. However, our orthodontic team near Hudson offers several financial solutions, including flexible financing, to ensure our patients don’t have to stress about the price. In other words, don’t hesitate to schedule an appointment with us so we can give you an estimate of the cost as well as review the financial solutions available to you.

How many dentists are in Hudson?

If the population of Hudson is around 20,000, and there is usually one dentist for every 2,000 people, then there are likely 10 dental offices in your area. Of course, that doesn’t include specialists, like orthodontists. The good news is that our practice is just a short drive away, and we’re happy to welcome patients from all over the area!

How can I make a same-day appointment with a dentist?

Typically, same-day appointments are reserved for orthodontic emergencies, like a broken ligature or protruding wire. So, if part of your braces broke, you’re struggling with a painful toothache, or something similar, then we will do our very best to see you right away for treatment. In fact, even if you just want to move up your appointment because you had a last-minute opening in your schedule, we will do our best to accommodate you!

How do I find the best place to get braces?

Since “best” is a subjective term, it’s a good idea to really pinpoint what’s important to you. Do you want to find an orthodontic practice that’s close to your home, your work, or your child’s school? Do you want to visit a board-certified orthodontist? Do you want to find a place that welcomes your dental insurance benefits? The answers to these questions will help you determine exactly what it is you’re looking for and, in turn, where the best place is for you!
